drama: a eulogy

friends and family who have gathered on this site to pay tribute to a friendship, i thank you for your sympathy, but it is not neccessarry.

IM GLAD THE BITCH IS DEAD.
harsh? thats the mood im in.

preface: i hate gay boys. those gays who are mentally no more than 12 or 13. boys who cant imagine having a gay "friend" who they arent sleeping with. im from a small town. clearly there are not many of us around here so eventually everyone has been around the block with... everyone. i can smile and say im not one of those people. what i dotn understand is why, in this place, its impossible for two gays to be friends and not expect it to go further thatn that. its just not like that in new york. i have friends. gay friends. gay friends that dont expect me to fall in love with them. we can just chill. i said chill. (it will never happen again). because of indiana's gay communities obsession with skipping off to relationship land with eachother, drama is all over the place. im going to upset people by saying this, but look around. the conversation is always who has dated who and who you have in common and blah blah blah. ive had enough. gay people can be friends and can have more to talk about than that.

main point: i have... had a friend who for all intents and purposes... fell for me. hard. i let him know right away that the feelings were not shared and i was only interested in being friends. honesty is the best policy. ive been strung along enough to know better than to do it to someone else. that stuff can hurt a person. apparently honesty hurt this person worse. (drama enters stage left) despite my writing style im a fairly drama free person. i dotn start it. i dont get involved in the drama of others. im generally pretty chi... relaxed. well, patience = tested. this friend, or so called friend of mine has decided that its all or nothing. he introduced me to a guy he has been seeing for a minute and me and this guy also became friends. he's cool. i think we'd be good friends. well... this was just too much for the friend in question. suddenly i was being bad mouthed to make my friend look better in front of the guyy. suddenly, we werent friends anymore. we were in some sort of sick competition, only i wasnt competing. he was just pelting " i know you are but what am i" darts at me waiting for me to, i dont know? get jealous? realize i was madly in love with him? who knows. well now he has this idea in his head that me andthe guy are in love with eachother and he has been sending me scathing texts telling me to back off and "stop doing this" as if im interested in being any more than friendly with his new guy. RIDICULOUS. so what do i do. ive tried to be his friend. ive assured him im only interested in being friends with both him and the other guy. he's not having it. he asks that i not "hurt him anymore than i already have". WHAT? what have i done? i was a great friend to him. helped him do his room. drove to be with him during every crisis he was having. always talking to him when he needed me. i was a friend. he says he gave and gave and got nothing in return. he got a friend in return. he just didnt get what he really wanted and that was for me to fall in love with him. i dont know what to do. do i even want to keep trying to be friends with him because it seems like a losing battle. thoughts? i need input world.

should the friendship be resuscitated or should i just... let the drama die?
